Hi,

I wonder if there are any experiences with the new Spectol S2?
Actually, I play a Speedy Soft XD d.tecs in 1,8mm and I would like to try a SP rubber with less grip but with the same amount of dynamics.

Would be the S2 a possible way to go? And if yes, what about sponge thickness? It's only delivered in 1.6 and 2.0...

Cheers
Andi

Sorry this might be a year too late, but I'm going the opposite direction and changing from S2 to XD.

I used s2 in 2.0mm and it's plenty fast if that's what you're after. All pushes tend to stay low, but I find its drifting long too often.

It's not really there unless you're actively scrubbing spin off a heavy loop.
