OOAK Table Tennis Forum

A very common one I know of, is player trying to tell everyone before the match, that they have a injury, or had a really busy day, or didn't get any sleep that night, etc. I think they often do this without thinking, and somehow removes some of the pressure off themselves, by lowering people's expectation...

Wish I had one that didn't make me laugh to think about it because that ruins the effect. (I never could play poker.

I'm actually wearing a shirt with some advertising (only of local shops and companies), this can really be helpful. But if everyone has these shirts, it's just normal.

My favourite psych? Actually I don't have one, except the ones everyone has. In close games I sometimes serve with my FH from my BH (doesn't sound so clever, but opponents get confused from this because your whole forehand is open).
Or in doubles, my partner and I behave like an old married couple (in fact we aren't ). For example once when i missed a smash because I had my wrist bent in a really, really weird way, I said to him: "Yesterday in bed it wasn't that loose...". It's all about having fun

And then there are the time-outs. Everyone knows what to do there...

Every time when the match counts, I wore my OOAK tt shirt.

It worked most of the time.
