I usually try and add as much spin as possible to the game myself, as this makes it harder for them to give you nothing back... STill I know some people are very good at giving you nothing balls... I don 't like these myself either...

Lobbing is a great technique if they can't do good kill shots and sometimes even if they can. It changes things up nicely. Just spin it good when you lob.

I used to having trouble (not enough patient) playing these kind of players. Bill U is that kind of player, that's how he serves and plays, move you around and ready to kill the balls. I also have another practice player who like that kind of strategy.

I like playing them now, their ball speed are generally slower and I have good speed, despite of my age, and I learned the most efficient steps to reach to the balls. For these players, don't give them pace and speed either, give junk balls back to them, and when they push back, I use my Long A (for those who don't know, it is a world famous long pip rubber) to attack.

I don't like these players either often because they're very consistent.

in my past experience, strong side spin lobs work wonders against these players, especially if you can disguise the side spin

I actually don't mind playing this style. I enjoy a tactical game, and I feel like it gives me the opportunity to dictate the pace of the game and when I want to attack. When I can pick my spots and don't feel rushed to attack, I feel comfortable. More than against a two winged looper that I know is going to pressure me by attacking everything.

I tend to mix this style of play up with some spinny loops thrown in and some quick directional changes like after putting the ball to them trickily to the BH going wide to FH where they suddenly have to reach AND deal with odd pip spin. So often ends in the net. I find the people who combat this best tend to use a deep chop back off their FH and well placed chops (and some of the better BH loopers loop) from their BH back to mine.
