IMO general practice against lefty players is more important. My instinct is to push long to opponent's left side, it is immediate kill by a lefty. You have to push across the right diagonal forcing him to open his attacks with his BH towards your FH.

The best service is short wide underspin to his FH from your own BH table side, lefty is practicaly forced to push back into the middle. You also need to perform some fast long diagonal and cross services. Even if they are not very effective by themselves they make his recieve ready position uncertain.

Short BH service is very dangerous against him as lefty would immediately attack your wide FH and move you out of position.

heavy backspin ball close to the net should keep him from playing a strong hit and may even force him to loop back which then you can chop to the backhand corner, and its hat to hit when you break the game's momentum which you can do by varying the ball (no spin, spinny, long, short etc)
