Hi,

What antis would you recommend with the following:

Soft or Medium sponge (preferably 2.0mm or more)
Non-dampening sponge, preferably a fast sponge.
Slick topsheet, not grippy like 804 etc.

Thanks

Best to start with Yasaka AntiPower. It’s cheap, durable and available.

The only criteria it doesn’t meet is when new it has an ever so slight grippy topsheet. From reports it slicker than 804.

Just like attacking players freely talk about boosting their rubbers, with this anti you can try treating it with Armour All to make it slicker or alternatively buying a used sheet if you can find it.

Blade: Stiga Cybershape Carbon
FH: Butterfly Tenergy 19 2.1
BH: Dr Neubauer ABS3 1.5
The only "slick" type anti that I think might work for these characteristics would be one of the Dr Neubauer ABS2 models. The ABS2 Pro has a hard sponge, but it very good for attacking.

Keep with it for at least a month. You will start getting used to it and it will gradually play better each time.

All the ABS antis have a dampening and hard sponge though. The Dr Neubauer Power Attack is a slick anti made for attacking. It has a soft sponge that is not dampening and gets faster with increased thickness.

I still think YAP is the right decision. At least from this anti OP will get an idea of how other antis perform respective to it.

With Dr. N I agree the thicker the sponge the slower it is as the ones I have used have the pink dampening sponge.

The Pro has a different sponge. I've tried the other Dr N antis, this one is definitely faster than the others.

the answer is it depends. What blade do you think you are going to put your anti ? Blade characteristics will deviate your experience widely .
