Good point, it could be the top surface that didn’t gel with YAP 2.0 for chopping. I used on Dr N Hercules with a session each on Joola Rossi Emotion and a heavily lacquered Petr Korbel Japan. Attacking had no issues.

YAP 1.5 felt very stable on these. The thinner sponge also slowed down the inverted side quite abit as well as being lighter which helped in chopping for me at least.
