tried 804 recently but my opponent who is quite a good looper said my block returns were harmless. Definitely no disruptive effect on counter hits like with a medium pip rubber and the ball bounced fairly high i.e like in the video. The Tuttle rubber sounds a better option for the plastic ball.

The only player I've seen successful with this used it on a soft custom sponge and boosted it, that gave him some speed when attacking along with a little spin. There are so many options in anti spin play today, from 804 and NeoAnti to the various slick anti sheets. Unfortunately the spin is not as strong as it used to be with the new ABS balls, which is forcing players to play a smarter game these days.
