| Post subject: | Scandal and Diabolic Extra Slow |
Scandal has the Reflection slow sponge and has the flexibility to add your own spin like Diabolic (mentioned in this review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaBw7IAmTJg). Scandal just sounds like a slower version of Diabolic, but now we also have Diabolic Extra Slow. Does anyone know what's the difference between them? |

The sponge is the same on Reflection, Scandal, Diabolic Extra Slow and Transformer Extra Slow. For me the Scandal and Reflection are close in speed but Reflection has better spin reversal with the more glossy top sheet, while Scandal has a clearly lower throw. Diabolic ES is closer to Reflection than Scandal in spin reversal and has the same low throw as Scandal but is a little faster than Reflection and Scandal. All these are clearly slower than ordinary Diabolic. You can’t add your own spin with either of these rubbers (not even Diabolic, but the dynamic sponge of that rubber makes attacking easier). These are my own findings on my own blade (Stiga Carbonado 90). |
