Yesterday I got to use this rubber a little more. I have a green sheet in 1.5 mm and my friend Marcus has a black (all-version) in 1.0.
This is a very interesting rubber, both top sheet and sponge. The top sheet feels rather frictionless, like a Störkraft ig gripo, but with a very different feel to the material. Störkraft is thin and hard, this is more like a normal rubber that has no friction at all (glossy). And the sponge is not a normal dampening sponge. When you bounce the ball on the bat it behaves like a normal rubber. It reminds me of Neubauers Power Attack, but this is more easy to block with I think (many years since I used Power Attack). And I think that the speed is about the same with the two different thicknesses I tried. If anything, the 1.5 mm is faster than 1.0. But arc is lower on 1.0, and spin reversal is a little better. With that it should be more easy to attack with 1.5 mm but I need to investigate that further.

Here is a short clip where I used the 1.5 mm version on Stiga Clipper Classic, then on Stiga Carbonado 90 and last on Palio TCT. We made more videos with Marcus where he used the black 1.0 version on his Palio TCT, that will appear later.

How does it behave in pushing rallys?

How do you mean?
It is very good for attacking back spin with a normal stroke, like with a medium pip or so. And it works to push aggressive against back spin as well (I did that one time in the clip). But I think Störkraft is better for pushing hard against back spin. With this you should lift and attack, also against no spin.

Here is a video with some strokes and drills showing what you can do with Sabotage if you are as gifted player as Marcus:

Yes it is, but it is very blade dependent. TCT has an extremely low throw angle in this kind of block.

About the same. But Sabotage is easier to attack with. The green sponge is more like an ordinary offensive sponge while the SG Attack has a sponge that still absorbs the ball a little. SG attack is still fast but the sponge has another feeling.

I have tested the Def/All version 1.0 and for me it fits very well. The control is huge, the throw angle is very low, the blocks are short, just the reversal is lower than Scandal(what i used before).

It is a bit difficult to push heavy backspins but not imposible. It is easier to attack them, though.

For me, it is a big improvement in consistency.

Did someone else test the Def/All version?

Great rubber can attack any spin though topspin is much easier to chop block or sideswipe.

Hoping to post some match play in a few months, too many years and muscle memory focused on long pips.

Glanti is way different than the long pip game, imho.

Here are 2 videos from WRM Japan. I was very impressed by the lady in the 2nd video, I didn't know that you could play with the rubber like that.

She normally plays with medium pips I believe. And Sabotage, especially the faster version, plays rather similar to medium pips I think. But to do it that good, without practicing with the rubber before... Just amazing.

Def-attack, your buddy Marcus is awesome I saw him put the fear of God to Truls Moregard, awesome showing!

I'm barely USATT 1800 rating so my match play isn't going to be very impressive, though I have found I'm looping more than playing my old long pip set-up, flat kill the high balls forehand attack.

Recently I've had great success at chop blocking slow loops directly off the bounce.

I'm also developing a push kill option against most spins that I don't yet understand, stroke or function, but it's fast low and nasty, only possible wide crosscourt.

Also, great success with the Anti on the forehand, fake loops fooling most.

A month in and I'm IN!

Yet much more to learn and time to think outside the box.

This rubber is a blast to play with, much longer weirder, interesting rallies. Hoping to film a couple of games tomorrow against my main training partner, he knows my game pretty well.
