Yep, and before that she beat ZHANG Qiang and Feng Tianwei. Some incredible matches!

Her Nickname of the "wallbreaker" is apt - one of very few who actually hits THROUGH the chinese girls. incredible to watch!

I love this girl’s style and approach. So cool, powerful and fun to watch.

Wow! Just wow! She just keeps on coming at her opponents. She reminds me of Mike Tyson (whom I personally loathe, but that's another story) - she's so aggressive and hits so hard. She absolutely destroyed Zhu Yuling in the final. When was the last time a CNT player lost 4-0 in a final to a non-CNT player?

STRIKING SIMILARITY.

Mima Ito, striking similarity to Deng Yaping's image, stance, playing pattern..

...also the height, both 4'11" (1.5m), the flatness of so many strokes, and in the apparent legwork (in the weight room?).

(Just guessing that most pros do weight work, some evidently more than others.)

Someone here is 5'2", shakehand with pips with sponge on the back, and I always recommended Deng Yaping and Ai Fukuhara as models (especially, as models of how to cover the whole table). I will certainly introduce the person to Mima Ito now. (But better watch in slo-mo or it might be too scary!) Just kidding, maybe.

Fantastic achievement for Mima Ito!

I love her playing style, flat-hitting on the FH like she's got short pips! Ding Ning was under amazing pressure, forced onto her heels, even stumbling backwards hunting for time as shown in the two match clips below. Ito's ability to stay at the table and slap ball after ball in successive attacks is something to behold.

"WE NEED SHIFTING OUR MIND, NOW. "

Coach Li Sun did owned chinese girls all play "obsolete game", and they all need to take to a better versatille play, alternating pace of play during a match..

I feel privileged just to have watched that on youtube. That's how good that was. I mean come on... I'm a bit sad that I didn't travel down to watch this year.

Remember coach's advice: Hit the ball at the top of the bounce https://youtu.be/bpN9gCeaRLg?t=293

Or not!
