Post a review, you hear?!

I'd love to hear how it performs against some common 5-plys and some 7-plys...

So , the first impressions :

It is a softer blade comparing to Clipper Wood and more flexible - also has a higher throw. It isn't in my opinion a hard blade at all. Very good for topspin play. I felt it like a 5-ply version of clipper wood or a 7-ply version of Donic Waldner Senso V1. Anyway it is more control than Clipper .
YEO is harder and faster than P700 also.

I like very much the blade for now (I need to play more , though), the handle is ok.

More later ... 8)

Thanks vali!

Yes I agree the blade has quite a soft feel... which is one of the reasons it's popular among some players...

Got a 83 gr. FL 2 weeks ago from Alex. Softish, very nicely balanced and kind of flexy. Did some sanding on the wings for better grip. Slower than Clipper and my Ludeack Power, I wasn't looking for speed anyways. Had a heavier P700 before and regretted selling just after I did. I think this blade offers great value of players coming from 5 ply blades and looking for a bit more stability, hitting power, better blocking. I also copied the setup of Tan Ruiwu :D , a great player of my style.

I'd like to ask, is it a bit harder than say, the P500?

Yes, and a bit stiffer too.

I read somewhere that P500 is a clone of Banda Waldner . P700 might be a clone of Persson powerplay ?

Hi, just received from Alex an Avalox P700 AN -- apparently, the handle feels a little thicker than the P500 AN, I'll get some measurements up tonight. :)

Thanks for the goods, Alex and Luna! :) :D

Alrighty! I'm on it! :)

Top plys: Persson Powerplay bottom, P700 on top.

Side-to-side: Persson Powerplay left, P700 on the right.

I reserve my own observations to avoid influencing yours. :)
