SQL ERROR did occured once again while transmitting this message, over and over again. It is all getting a permanent vexed issue indeed.

Is it repairable anyway? My quota of patience is near zero level.

FAIR PLAY FIRST

This is surprising, because I log in and post virtually every day, and I never get any errors. It's possible that a wave of bots are visiting the forum at times in such huge numbers that the server can't keep up. If I spot this, I can block them, but if I don't see them I can't do anything.
Is anyone else getting SQL errors?

Have had them occasionally, but cannot recall it happening this year. Usually goes away within an hour. I have attributed it to high load (which DDoS does) or service maintenance (backup/updates/upgrades).

If it happens with increasing frequence/duration (as indicated by OP) and only for a limited selection of users (as indicated by the negating responses from myself and others), the cause usually lies in the client end, and not on the service.

Igorponger sees this as a "permanent vexed issue", which is significantly different from what other users have observed. I suggest a check on local setup (computer updates and malware check, web browser version, try different browsers, perhaps restart local router), internet link speed (https://fast.com is one good option) and see whether filtering is active in some point of the network route and discriminates certain network regions (for instance, i am getting virtually identical ping results from pm.gov.au and ooakforum.com).

Sometimes a timeout on one part of the service is not reported as timeout, but causes other components (like SQL service) to report error. Also, some versions of some browsers will use "shortcuts" (content preload and such) which are incompatible with some services. I think I have seen this with Brave, Chrome and Safari browsers. Opera, Edge and Firefox usually behave better. That said, I haven't done any extensive research, so my observations may well be flawed.

It is of course also possible that the observed "vexed issue" in reality consists of fluke events (randomly hitting high load situations). The issue should then disappear by itself.
