I'm adding this to the loaner arsenal.

To be paired with 729 Cross or Batwings. BTW any difference between the 2?

"Surface material: dedaru" Does anyone know what that is. Search comes up with either a band or a World of Warcraft character.

Don't know if anyone remembers the "bat bat", but here's the "bat ball":

Isn't 729 Cross non-tacky? Or maybe I've got that confused with Higher/Faster/Focus... if you think about it, Dracula's allergic to crosses.

Not sure what dedaru is, either, but it does resemble obeche/ayous - big, elongate pores, stripey. Fairly soft and fibery, do seal your blade. Or you will pull fibers loose.
