Blade: DHS PG7
FH: DHS 651
BH: 1 sided (Red covering)
Let's just get straight into the point, Someone sat down on my bag, with my Yinhe 985 Jpen in it, and it broke (Head is splitted) I am going to have a birthday soon, and my Parents allow me to buy a blade. I was thinking of Yasaka Yagyu Silver, but no one reviews it, It's a 9mm Hinoki. Has anyone tried it? If yes, please tell me a good setup and tell me your experience.

Thanks in advance

If it's a 9mm one ply hinoki blade it'll be a little slower and lighter than the really expensive 10, 11 or 12mm blades. These one ply hinoki blades are great for topspin driving and fast looping.

In Japanese, yakkyu means baseball, takkyu means table tennis, wagyu means (very expensive) Japanese beef. Wonder what yagyu means. (Gyu means "cow".. )

Blade: Nittaku Rorin
FH: Nittaku Fastarc G-1
BH: -
if you can find such a blade still in stock, go for it

if not then there's a new version of yagyu by yasaka, which looks really pretty ;) but i would still go for older models that are still out there.

about the naming of the jpen, yasaka's name for their current line of jpens are derived from famous samurais

if there's yasaka musashi which refers to miyamoto musashi, then yasaka yagyu must be referring to yagyu jubei mitsuyoshi

the only odd one out of the yasaka jpen line in terms of names is yasaka hasha, which is not a name of any samurai. hasha is translated into conqueror/ supreme ruler
