Alright, the EJ in me is acting up again and this time wants to explore jpen.
Combine that with wanting to return to a time that I didn't play or even live in and you got this topic.
So I want to build a traditional jpen setup like it would have been built 20, 30, or 40 years ago that won't cost an arm and a leg for a fun setup. That means that I will have to find substitutes for good stuff back in the day with cheap alternatives, for example, the golden days of speed glue are gone, but you can still buy cheap SG on ali and other places.

Looking for equipment suggestions or what would have been a regular setup back in the day.

Sriver + speed glue and you're sorted.

Looks like it has similar price to Yasaka Mark V, how do they compare. As for the blade I decided to go with Yinhe 982.
