The handle on this penhold blade allows for CPen or JPen / Korean Penhold grips. I am tempted to try one.

It really isn't clear to me what the difference is, other than the shapes of the grips.. In the past I thought Japanese penhold meant holding the fingertips of the second, third and fourth fingers against the back of the blade, but this doesn't seem to be universally true.

I have the following blade:

https://armstrong.tokyo.jp/product/rack ... o_332.html

Hence my id name.

I am a very casual player who uses the penhold grip. A few years back I decided to start playing table tennis again and a friend gifted me a nice, but basic Chinese penhold blade. While playing I noticed that the blade was slipping from my grip, especially in the very humid summers.

So on a trip to Tokyo I picked up the blade linked above. I like it and find the nubs at the top useful to place my index finger and no more blade slip. How does this relate to the Revofusion. Since I am not interested in twiddling I cut off one of the nubs at the top basically creating a grip similar to the Revofusion. For a casual Chinese Penhold player I like this grip a lot more.

But of course, again I am a very casual player and I haven't played for awhile, but hope to practice once a week. So I pulled out the racket and checked out this forum again.
