Sounds tempting

Just ordered one to give it a go. When it's a success then that 'll be great! But when it's a failure, it will be okay too 'cause all other pips go seem like child's play! :sun:
Because its base sheet is so thin and its pips rather short, much of its playing characteristic comes from the blade itself.

the also lose friction really fast but break real easy....played a girl in china with a medium pips OX backhand and a short pip forehand who chopped from about a meter behind the table somewhat like liu song and forehand smashed everything.......doesnt matter how hard i looped she still managed to chop from that close....it was like her whole body was one big shock absorber

vs. Kreanga!

There's more of him and the rest of this match on that same channel. Game 3 is amazing, but games 4/5 it looked like he was messing around and decided he was going to give up. :(

I watched him live at my summer club CCTTA last year...they call him "SUNNY"...I believe he's the Toronto #2 currently...He's a reincarnation of Chen XinHua imo...always smiles! Does he do cartwheels?

Eugene Wang Zhen.

There is a list of top players in canada but I believe there is also a torono list...

http://69.20.231.201/ctta_rating/

I'm recalling that PP Pradeepan lives in Montreal but I could be wrong...anyways the list is obscure and I'm not into tournaments but one of the senior admin at my club Scarboro Kings told me that SUNNY is #2 and I take his word for that ...which club do you belong to piligrim?(may I ask?)

Also I could be wrong but that is what I know at this point...

edit: looks like sunny could be 4th here's another list:

http://ttcan.ca/en/home/rating.aspx

I know I've seen a Toronto list but I can't remember which site...

I know Eugene plays at the My Table Tennis Club just by the video and I've played at the woodbine one...

I can't find the Toronto rankings - I think I saw it as part of Alex Li's site a few years ago and he himself was also included.

Anyways, I'll email the CTTA and OTTA just to get their opinion if there was such a list, on the municipal level.

You probably right about Eugene... I just got the impression from videos and his photo ops, like the cctta home page, and presumed that he lived in Toronto, but since he's the best player in Canada it would make more sense if he lived in Ottawa which would be closer the national training center...

I'll be willing to bet you that if retirees that he'll relocate to Toronto!

I believe that there are other Toronto OOAK member(s) that can better comment on these issues regarding Eugene and Sunny, so I will defer to the more experienced and higher skilled...

From the Ontario Table Tennis Association (Hope I got that right)...

Sun Jian Fei is the number 1 player residing in Toronto - thanks piligrim for pointing that out. Also another player Hongtao? also used to live here but now trains in Ottawa.

And there is no list of Toronto players unless it is informal one.
