In the last video with Zhang Jike, there is a close up of Hou's blade...I counted 7 plies...is it Hurricane Classic?....
..reminded me old chinese blades with 7-9 plies like PF4 series...

Match against Lin Yun-Ju in T league. Apparently it happened back in January 2020. Lin couldn't handle the spin variation from those short pips!

Looong video ! You may open it rather in YT and jump to the marked time stamps only.
Custom made wood which sounds similar to Hou‘s blade. Made of basswood.

Ref seemed biased against Wang Bo. Couldn't see what that yellow card was for due to how the video was cut, but the three bad service toss calls were dubious.

Awesome!
Why did you go for 9 plies instead of 7 plies? What headsize is your custom?
How do you rate the speed/control of your blade compared to others?
Indeed the sound is similar.

I switched to a 5ply all Ayous (which is soft) and there is an obvious gain in spin for chops (vs common Limba outlayer blades).

I think it's more like the old DHS-08 blade.
Looks like this:

Hou fans and materials addicted may like this
I stumbled on it in the match against Zhang Jike

Maybe we can guess the last controverse details about his paddle, which are sponge and sponge thickness of his spectol
If it's a commercial sponge, i'd say either spectol classic or spectol 21
Thickness seems at least 1.8
