In that clip that you mentioned, he is playing against Oshima Yuya (大島 祐哉), player for Club Kinoshita Meister Tokyo.

Looks like the team is making him play a lot of matches

Muramatsu Oshima 3-2

Muramatsu - Mizutani 1-3

Muramatsu - Harimoto 7-11 in the killer set format

He has also played a new match, against another chopper, but I don't know the name. I can't wait to see that match if I have the opportunity, anyway despite the year with Joo See Huyk, he still has issues with other choppers

Apparently, that chopper he played was Satoshi Aida, double inverted chopper.

Thanks, I started to be suspicious he was a chopper, since he backhand flipped one Muramatsu's serve, but the fact that he uses inverted on backhand explains it

Lost 0-3 to Koki Niwa, I guess we won't see him playing for a some time after his performance...

A nice point from a nice angle. You can really see how Muramatsu takes every chop at table height, or sometimes slightly above. There's also another SP attack!

His FH rubber looks really shiny. Tacky? H3?

AFAIK H3 is usually brighter than that. You can look at Liang Jingkun's forehand for a good comparison. Doesn't look the same to me IMO.

Perhaps the new dignics rubber? Is that shiny/tacky?

I tried Muramatsu technique, but I never managed to be consistent and get a lot of spin. In my SuperSpin Pips Chop 2 I get more spin and control by taking the ball under the table even if I noticed that keeping the paddle angle open like Muramatsu / Wang Yang helps to be more consistent especially when the attacker loop is very spinny

I wonder if he learned that "Hou Yingchao maneuver" pulling-the-shorts-up technique by playing HYC in T-league.

Thanks for your message. I didn't think Yuto kept the paddle so closed while chopping away from the table, seeing it from this angle looks really different.

some chop training

on 1:42 you can clearly see that its a different blade, at first I thought it looked like the new DHS 08x blade, but the handle of the blade Yuto uses is a little bit darker

Looks like Yuto now uses mort short pips smashes, in this match more than once he had relatively high balls that could allow twiddling, but he preferred to smash with the backhand rubber
