The LP looks like a 0.5 sponged sheet.Now while testing R1-thick balsa blade similar to hers-I am getting the idea that this 0.5 sponge is needed to control the springiness of the thick balsa core .

In ox I am having trouble with the midtable no spin ball and if my footwork is a bit wrong the thick balsa core plus the ox rubber is too unforgiving . Better add the 0.5 sponge and see what happens but I don't like sponge underneath the pips :(
