I think his style is very similar to Koji Matsushita's style. They should have about the same age too... |

Just found out what Shibutani played with on a French table tennis forum: Team Matsushita (forum member): "Hiroshi Shibutani jouait avec un Tackiness Drive (1,9 mm) en cd, un Feint Long II 0x en revers et un bois Matsushita Pro Model" So Hiroshi Shibutani is an OX-chopper. Matsushita Koji had a 0.5 Kawasaki special sponge underneath his FL II. |

That first video was fantastic to watch. He moves more in his games of TT than I ever did in football! |

Yes, they actually played doubles together frequently (and won the all Japan doubles numerous times). Here they are together getting pretty close to a WTTC victory over a couple guys who you've probably heard of before. |

That's an amazing match between all those table tennis icons (1997 Men's Doubles Semi-Final: Persson/Waldner vs Shibutani/Matsushita). Thanks, Roar. What a strange comeback in the final set... |

He was using Feint Long ox before Feint Long II...most probably...FL was so much more deceptive with bigger aspect ratio. |
