Her game is great to watch. Her world ranking of 50 should change to a single figure pretty soon at this rate. On her way to the bronze, she defeated World #60 (Katarzyna Grzybowska-Franc), #6 (Kasumi Ishikawa), #43 (Chen Szu-Yu), #13 (Yu Mengyu) and #8 (Ai Fukuhara). |

Pretty spiffy chart the ultimate table tennis tournament is using. Great stats and such https://www.ultimatetabletennis.in/play ... er-profile One thing I noticed, is that Kim appears to be one of the most MODERN defenders on the women's side of things. She has a ratio of about 1/1 when it comes to points won by chops/defensive strokes and offensive strokes. She has one hell of a forehand winner as well! Whereas players like Han Ying and Wu Yang are running closer to a 2.5 defensive winning shot to 1 offensive winning shot. Tatyana Bilenko was the most classical, going by the stats. Running over a 3/1 ratio in favor of defensive shots. I wonder what Joo Se Hyuk rates at? Now, I know that isn't a perfect analysis since these only calculate points won -- and not how many chops it took to get those points. |

Love watching her, very entertaining style. First two games could've gone either way... |

Damned plastic, damned plastic This stone-like new ball detracts a lot from Kim Song's chopping potency. |
