One of the two choppers recently chosen for the Taiwanese National Team in 2020

Match vs. Huang Yuwen 黃郁雯


I've noticed with some research that the trend with younger Taiwanese choppers is JSH blade/defence iv, H3 FH, and TSP long pips.

An instructional/comparison video between Cai Yuqin and a defensive coach, Ye Baimin.



She said she likes to chop closer to the table, taking the ball at the peak or earlier, along with attacking pushes with the long pips.

The video also shows that she uses Hurricane 3 orange sponge and Curl P-4 with thick sponge, she uses a blade with a red and yellow stripe [Closeup at 3:32]. I'm not sure what blade she uses.
