According to TT-News.de she uses a Matsushita Pro blade with Hurricane III and R.I.T.C. 802.

In the ITTF magazine, she appears in an milkyway advert with 2 defensive blades: No.LQ-2 (type def) and No.LQ-1 (def+).

Greetings

Those are the Li Qian (LQ) signature blades. It's pretty well established that she doesn't use either one.

Yes, she has great and very stable defensive strokes. Very compact style.

Cheers.

Nice stills. They let someone see how she starts her shots. Pretty cool.

Li Quian Vs Li Jie (both defensive):

http://www.ettutv.com/?Menu=Video&Actio ... &lang_id=2

First set was ver long (more than 10 minutes) and there was applied an unsual rule of aceleration (I don't know how do you say it in english (acceleration rule?)).

Greetings

Nice find, fotta :)

"The acceleration rule" you are thinking of is called "the expedite system" in English. It basically means "the hurry-up system". ;)

You are right. I looked for that in an diccionary (ITTF dictionary :D ) and you are correct.

Another video about Li Vs Tamara Boros:
