I love that slightly fish-eyed camera they are using there. I have seen it in some other clips and it gives a very good idea just how fast they really play. Damn it looks good! Thanx MNNB!

I feel a bit sorry for CWX, his footwork and this knowledge, and his use of the pimple and inverted are much better than joo's (IMO) but his body make him difficult to be the nr1. defender in the world...

Does Chen not use a Joola blade? He has 2 of his own-i thought that he used inversed on both sides-not pimples out-even though on Joolas website it says he uses Octopus-long pips-??????????????? Does he use pimples out on the BH????

He's definitely using long pips on his BH, just look at his strokes, it's quite easy to see and hear the differences in technique and sound. I would also say it's pretty much confirmed that he uses TSP Curl P1R, but you never know with the pros. The blade is probably a BTY Defence 2, at least it's been so in the past as shown in some photos.

pips give a more distinguished thunking sound, compared to inverted clicking.

in one of those last vids chen must feel a bit akward, being the only asian on the european side...

On the picture, it looks like Chen is using a Shark III not the Shark II. But seing the picture, it looks like his Shark III is quite different from those we find in stores.

Cheers,
Ma'man

Chen seems to be playing the best table tennis in years, Ive never seen Chen this consistent with His FH in a long Time, and If you see old Chen Videos back in 2009 you could see his chops were sloppy and high as hell now hes really digging into that ball and you can see some crazy action on those chops hopefully he makes a good run in the upcoming mayors

hey ilikepie

just spoke to one of our players who played him in a tournament, and he is using the new whale III with the pink sponge, i have only played extensively with the old whale III with the purple sponge, and it fishes GREAT if you are not passive....and almost kinda sorta half loop

the pink sponge is like the new red sponge on whale II and is almost like a very dense tenergy sponge.....in fact i would place the feeling of the new red sponge almost identical to spin art.

the new whale III has a pink sponge as well, it does cause confusion...
