Thanks for posting this Pushblocker. Really enjoyed the contrast in styles and the desire and sportsmanship.

Boll defended really well too when he had too.

CWX got him a temper, eh? He holds himself real accountable for chances he felt he should have made.

Indeed. And that's what sets him apart from Joo I reckon.

In a match of that caliber, Weixing's gesture at 3:32 showed great class and at once made him one of my favorite players.

While watching the match, however, I was wondering why Weixing wouldn't attack with his BH. Is the BH LP counter-drive/smash considered a low-percentage shot, or perhaps too easy to return? My BH LP drives and smashes rarely get returned.. but then again I'm not playing against Timo.

Chen Weixing is sorely lacking in a dedicated thread in the video section so I just made this one it and updated the index accoordingly. A great starting post, Pushblocker :)

Now go get some more great vids of him and post them here. :)
Anybody got his equipment handy so we can update the profile up top?

I also wondered why he does not attack with his LP at all. By merely defending, it does make his LP too one dimensional which Timo handled without any problem. Anyway, nice video. Lots of great rallies :D

Cheers.

Chen is one of my favorite players. I love his play style and he oozes with personality.

To muddy the water a bit about his equipment this is the “official” word on what he uses:
Blade: Chen Weixing ST
FH: Joola Express One
BH: Octopus 1.1 (a TSP Curl P1-r clone by some accounts)

Thanks Chen_Max and you too VIP. :)
I think we'll use the non-official one as the official one usually have been contaminated by the marketing department ;)

How do you know it's 1.5 mm, not 1 mm?
