blade's handle was more like grey (definitely not brown like def2) with green Joola logo and also handle was thinner than def2
fh rubber yellow sponge
bh p1r at least 1.1-1.3mm (looks like 1-2 year pip with big finger mark)

He used to use P1-R with a really thick sponge, something like 2 or even 2.2mm.

I think you're drunk, dunc. ;) (Got the joke? :D ) I always heard he played P1-R 1,0mm.

I wish p1r could be used in this thickness....it goes over the "4.0mm Max thickness sandwich rubber" rule :(

I swear someone like Bogeyhunter who has actually played with Chen looked at his bat/asked him about his equipment and he used a custom-thickness sponge on his P1-R.

They used to make their LP rubber in 1,7-1,9 thickness. I've got one here of P3alphaR.

Do it! And save that sponge, I've come to the conclusion that it is the p1r sponge that makes it such a high spin chopping pip. Once I break the pips on my sheet I'm going to replace the top sheet with another type to test my theory.

Ok. I have a tiny injury right now, but this should be gone within a week. I also have our local championship this weekend, but after that I wanted to EJ a bit (especially FH). I'll do it. Just keep us posted about your experiments.
