Probably a bit higher - I make more mistakes :)

I probably wouldn’t stand a chance against them but I find it hard to estimate a rating without seeing how they adapt to other playing styles. Both are somewhat similar in style. At times it looks like counter hitting practice.

Anyway I’ll give it a shot at 1400 RC (I don’t know how USATT compares to RC).

I was going to say 1,400 ratings Central but upped it to 1,450. This was before I'd read Dusty's estimation so good to see we are thinking along same line.

As a clarification - you guys are quoting Australian RC estimates. 1400 RC in the US is ~1750 USATT and these guys are better than that.

I watched a bit more and I'd probably bump my estimate up a little - 1850-1900

Service return was generally a good level, not many mistakes, although nothing especially difficult. FH and BH were good standard with the occasional hard attack but in general this felt like a practice match with everything designed to do mid distance rallying and not an actual match - Which makes it difficult to judge.

I'm going to say 2100. The short pushing was on point. It could be higher but I'm pretty sure they would beat the couple of 2000 players I know.

They play like the 1700 NCTTA people at my club though. Should be something very similar or maybe a tiny bit higher on USATT

Yes. I'd revise upwards again.
2000-2100.

So do we get a prize at the end of this for guessing his rating?

Now way either of these guys are below 2000 unless they utterly suck vs pips.

I play at a Russian Church, obviously they have some Russians there. Of the three guys over 1700 California rating, two play the style you see in the vid, hit real hard and pretty much flat (except that the guys in the vid can spin it when they want). The two guys in the Church bang it and just get to the ball to bang it again. One is 1800, other is 2000. The LP player misses a lot and is still over 1700. Even the two best players in the local Russian Church would lose 11-4 or 11-5 each game. They are easily 3-4 levels below the two guys in the vid. 2000+ is an extremely conservative estimate.

The SP BH lady herself would be over 2000, even in California. Even Dmitri, the guy in the club taking the vids and posting them on internet... even him with his strange BH oriented attack would be 1800+ in California if he can receive the locals' serves...

Whatever the true answer is, it is a lot higher than 2000.
