He's out of position and leaning when he makes those shots in the second part of the video, they're a fluke. Look at any video of him training and he doesn't keep the ball within 15cm of the previous, even against soft blocks. It seems that the modern style is to hit with power around a general area so that there is a lot of room for error, instead of aiming as precisely as this video tries to convince us he does.

I disagree, its not a fluke. For both wining shots he was positioned well, whilst he was out of position briefly he recovered well. You don't get to be world 27 without being able to precisely hit winners in either corner.

My friend the word fluke is almost blasphemous here in this context! Have so more appreciation for these high level players. I dont blame you though. You dont really get to appreciate the angles and placement from general ITTF/WTT angles as much as you do in this video. I highly encourage you to take a look at the full match:
If those are flukes though then Kanak Jha has been consistently fluking his way into the top 30 in the world in front of everyone's eyes! Thats almost even more impressive :O
