Der Materialspezialist SHOCKWAVE:

der-materialspezialist SHOCKWAVE is an offensive medium pimple which enables dynamic play with high disruptional effect. The disruptional effect when blocking the opponents loops and offensive strokes is astounding, since the trajectory of these disruptive blocks is not linear but is flat. SHOCKWAVE creates longer contact time with the incoming ball through its dynamic rubber compound and the usage of a new sponge. This ensures exceptional control properties and a unique playing experience. The main speciality of SHOCKWAVE are offensive disruptional strokes. The rubber enables you to easily play dangerous fast counter strokes, disruptional loops and fast paced hits and shots. The OX Version is ideal for defensive players at the table and away from the table due to highest possible control, great spin properties and the possibility of unpredictable disuptional offensive strokes. SHOCKWAVE: Shock your opponent!

(Videos available on the internet)

I did some research on the internet en did not found a lot of information in english, only in German.
I tried to translate some of them en this is my brief or resume: 8)

Shockwave is very variable en stable, it also has very good control.

When playing passive, it has not a lot of deception. It has excellent control en you can place the ball wherever you want. Push is easy and it has not a lot of reversal (also not if you defense away from the table). But the control is defenitly there.

When playing active, the active block gives deception, ball stays low en not easy to return.
Good for flip (flick), pseudo topspin and counterballs. Also speed changes (fast-slow).
More active is more deception.

Service has not a lot of spin.

Summary:
For players who play mostly close to the table. Want good control and a variable playstyle.
Deception comes from the variability (active-passive). Good control – deception story if you play active.

Anyone who played shockwave already ? And can give some information/opinion about: deception, control, close-away form the table, grip/ungrippy , possibilities, spinsensitive or not, other things,...

Would be interested to learn how this compares to spinlord Gipfelsturm on the BH as regards spin and speed. Difficult to tell from the geblock TT videos as the player feeding the balls is different. it looks like Gipfelsturm may have be more dangerous e.g. on active blocks.

see my review on the comparaison with the agressor. What I can tell is that it need to be played actively. Need good position, good hit and good stamina to hold on for many matchs. I found almost no disturbance. Opponent feel thay pay against an inverted rubber.
