I switched from inverted on my bh and fh to medium on my bh and inverted on my FH. I got this rubber fairly recently and my question is. Should I treat it more as a long pips rubber or short pips rubber?
By that I mean should I do short pips strokes or long pips strokes or even both? (with palio wp1013)
(and my style of play is an aggressive modern defender(i guess), I like to attack the ball as soon as possible but if I can't I will play defense until the opportunity to attack presents itself or until my opponent makes a mistake)
Thanks in advance! :D

Unfortunately most MP do not create much underspin if any in defense.

I agree with Omut. Build your game around blocking and attacking back spin with medium pips. They are not made for chopping even though it is possible. Here is a match I played 7 years ago with Palio WP on BH on a defensive blade, VKM (at this point I just went from Feint Long II, via 802, Spectol, 799, to WP and then to TSP Millitall)

So basically from what I've seen and read I should treat them more like a sp rather than lp?

I see, thank you all for your answers. But I just have one more question(hopefully I am not being too annoying). How can i push the ball without it going high, that is so far the only problem for me when I push it goes high and my opponent just smashes it? How should I do it?

Do not try to brush the ball, do not try to generate spin, do not try to amortize with soft wrist. Push (kick) it forward strongly with vertical or open racket. Normally soft underspin ball is excellent to be attacked with pips-out rubber. Attack can be various type of strokes that depends of your racket and you skills.

Most medium pips like are designed for active (fast) offensive game. If you want to slow down your game it is better to switch to long pips. But long pips will not solve your pushing problem.
