I like to do experiments of different blades and rubber combinations. Today I removed my damaged Dr. Neubauer gangster LP and then attached its 1.3mm sponge on a Friendship 563 OX rubber. The result is surprisingly good and even better than 563's genuine sponge. The Friendship 563 OX+Dr. Neubauer gangster sponge combination can chop and also loop. The speed is not bad. The control is better than a genuine 563 rubber with the genuine sponge. I guess using other LP sponge can get similar result. BTW my blade is Butterfly Viscaria. |
