Neubauer Barricade Def is very slow and controlled, but you can still smash with it (balsa blade, very light).

TSP Balsa 2.5 (if you can get one) or Tibhar COS3 Defense. Have used them both. I preferred the feel and lighter weight of the TSP Balsa 2.5 better.

Blade: Tsp Black Balsa 3.0
FH: t05 1.9 boosted
BH: 388d ox black
Tsp Black Balsa 3.0, block stays low with Lp,you have to like flexy though.Heavier copies are better if you can find them(65g+),nice looping blade also.
Even slower is Yin he Balsa def 5,big vibrations and ball comes off higher, harder to read the vibrations compared to BB3,the Yin he blade is the slowest of all

Donier def is slow and very good for chopping ( cheap and with great quality ) -low throw, maybe too much .It may have been discontinued. ;(
Lion Defence: superslow 3-ply ayous blade , very good for chopping, not so great for blocking imo but it has also been discontinued. Both of them may be available second hand .

Tony Hold White Spot is another classic option.

LKT Toxic 3 is a slow def blade. Lots of vibration but good control. Gambler oversize Kevlar is another slow def blade you might like. Not as slow as Toxic 3 but less vibration.

I highly recommend both the Defplay Senso and Barricade. Barricade is much lighter (mine is 51g!), whereas my two Defplays are 80 & 82g. The Barricade is a tad slower and has a larger head side, but I have no problem slamming on my opponents  Barricade is probably best if you stick close to the table, and has slightly lower throw, better if you hit more than loop. If you like to loop a lot, the Defplay is great for that.

Blade: DMS Cubixx
FH: Xiom Vega EU 2,0
BH: 388 D-1 OX
DMS Cubixx - is the best blade for LP ever.
I´ve tried Defplay Senso, Yinhe 980 PRO, Victas Koji Matsushita defensive, Stiga NCT def (very slow), NSD Shake def, maybe more ...but the best for LP control and attack is Cubixx for sure. Ball is falling down - thats all, against incoming spin I am able to put the ball on the table. After my attack, the ball falls on the table too.
Sorry for my English

For blocking too, but as I wrote, for attack too and that I mean attack by my LP's against chop mostly.

This is to me where you start get the blade right to first especially with LP.
I use TSP Trinity Carbon which is very light but will give you great speed when you need it

Victas Balsa 2.5 (formerly the TSP Balsa 2.5) is about as slow as they come. Inexpensive too.
Worth a try if slow, Slow, SLOW is what you want.

I wanted to know what LP do you use, and if it is in 0x.
Thank you.
