I suppose with one sheet of OX pips out and one sheet of inverted it shouldn't weigh too much...

Below some snapshots of a special custom made blade for Allround Players & Defenders, created by a small high quality wood manufacturer in Eastern Europe.

It is rather thin: only 4,9 mm. 7ply (5 + 2) with two carbon inlays.
Comes originally without handles and with an XXL-Oversize-Head - so that every customer can cut it down to the preferred personal size and can also create his own favourite grip.

I haven't changed the head size so far. It is still 183 x 170 mm (length in total: 283 mm). Yesterday I have mounted two Stiga Alsér Vintage handles from 1971 - making the weight in total 131 g.

I intend to cut it down to 168 x 156 mm - which might reduce the weight to approximately 120 g. Still very heavy, of course.... :mm:

Yesterday I have settled for a head size of 172 x 159 mm. Bringing the weight of the blade finally down to 118,8 g.

I know some people like heavy table tennis blades. What are some of the heaviest you've seen?

Heavy blades that come to mind are:
Masunov
Joo Sea Hyuk
Joola Chen Defender

Any others?

Butterfly Clearfield, used by the famous former Olympics women silver winner Chen Jing. She has short pips on BH.
I have three of this blade 110g, 102g, 97g
