After having experience of all the blades you mentioned above, I can definitely say that TT Master blades give me a feeling of being absolute slowest. If you can find one...
If not, then a TSP 2,5..............and...Juic Ghost

Hallmark Aurora on the BH (or DEF Side). Toni Hold WS is super slow. Defplay is pretty fast actually, but is a lot slower on passive blocking than active blocking.

I think the king of slow blades is the Donier Def blade is so slow, i had a hard time chopping balls back over the net with either 1mm P-1R or DG ox. THe slowness made the throw for chops super low!

+1 on Barricade. I almost view it as a teaching tool - you need to brush the ball to make it go forward. Flat hits don't make it to the net.

Man, this post was a blast from the past. I havent really played all that much over the past 5 years due to college but I'm trying to get back into it, although I think I chose a difficult time to do so given the whole cv situation. I have given away most of my collection so I am looking thru these options for a casual blocking setup, but I don't really like the feeling of balsa. Is the HM Strategy/Dr N Barricade the way to go to play blocking defense with the 40+ ball? I am also looking at using Bomb Talent, CK531, or other similar cheap LP.

"The Wall" from Der Materialspezialist is also a slow blade. Even (much!) slower is "Airbag" from the German custom-blademaker Senkakujo. A couple of years ago I had the chance to make a few hits with it. It was a combi-blade and the BH was so slow that it was difficult to get the ball to the net. The feeling was like playing with a piece of cardboard. But Senkakujo dosn`t seem to exist anymore as the website is offline.

I had Dr Neubauer Barricade, Tibhar Defense Plus and COS3. Barricade was the slowest, but it was hard to play forehand with it and clear the net. Tibhar Defense Plus is slower than COS 3. COS 3 is stiffer and more stable. I realized that this stability gives it better control despite higher speed.

Hock , 3 ply #74 25-153 over size is the slowest blade I've found, and I have tried many over the years. Mine has Dr Evil ox. Makes for great hardbat play, or against long pips or anti players who rely on spin from their opponent. ( they will get almost none)
