First... There are 2 different Tibhar CO S 3 Defensive.
One is smaller than the other.
I have this one

But you can also get this one.

I don't know if it is only the size that is different

I think it is very slow blade, but very nice blade.. And cheap.. :cash:

Fibercomp is maybe def+ all-.
So if you want a slow you go for cos3 and
a faster one Fibercomp...

I haven't tried innershield...

Just following up on this discussion. Is the new Tibhar CO-S-3 exactly like the original CO-S-3 only bigger?

Answering my own question, I've been informed by Tibhar that the new version is "identical" only larger.

Old size: 150 (wide) x 154 (long)
New size: 155 (wide) x 165 (long)

This is a slow, high control, 3-ply blade that is rather great for ox long pips and hardbat rubbers. My only complaint was it was too small, so this updated version addresses that issue. The other thing I noticed was that http://www.tabletennis11.com is selling this blade for $21.28 (€17.33), which is a spectacularly great bargain. It may not quite be an RE-Impact Perfect, but anyone who wants to put together an outstanding ox pips-out rig on the cheap really need look no further.

just to clarify, is this a symmetric blade?

it almost appears that the outer veneers could be different

Looks weird in this photo, but yes the CO-S-3 is supposed to be symmetric.

The small one works great with Dr. Evil. I have a big one on order.

This is among the slowest blades I
have ever tried. Great value for the money.
Low speed and high control is the name
of this blade.
