Ever wondered how the Dotec handle are put together? I had an old one recently that needed to be re-glued as it was a little loose, and I took a picture with the handle off as i thought it's was quite interesting:

Interesting! A little surprised by the metal tube :o. And yet these blades still come in light weight.

I think it was light weight aluminium, so a short piece might weigh similar to a solid and strong cylinder of timber to do the same job...
