Thank you for the image, mynamenotbob.
Counterargument #1:
In this snip see the dark plies.
I see three thin dark plies down the side. See them at the edge of the finger, extending all the way back.
I do not see the 032's two thicker dark plies down the side.
Comment?

Seven unequal plies. Three thin dark plys sandwiching two thicker light plys and we know there are two thin light outer plys from other pics.

You guys realise basswood is light in one direction and dark in the other like limba?. The pics arent good enough to say if there exsists thin outer plys or not but given that these old basswood blades are normally 5,6 or seven equal thickness plys. (nothing fancy), Anyway chances are this one is a 5 ply, about 6mm I would say.

To mynamenotbob:
I'm sorry, I thought you voted for 032. I also don't think it's an 032 (and I had more evidence lined up). :-)

To anyone else who thinks it's an 032, of course you can go to Google Images and search on PF4 032.

To foam:
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know about the color change and I have here a 5 and a 7.

The trouble with the answer "5 ply" is that the colors don't match up right; the wrong ones are dark.
The colors match the 7 ply.

Lastly, for now :-), *if* I see a number on the end, it is two digits, not three.

I myself think that if it's a PF4 model that I'm aware of, it's an 08.

In my opinion the best look at the plies is near his finger in the last zoom-in I posted (thanks to mynamenotbob).
There, the light plies looking thicker is "blooming" or an artifact, and here is my evidence:

Those same plies that are the light ones on the side will be the dark ones on the end, as foam said and as I can see on the blades I have.
If they are really thicker they would look thicker on the end too.
But the dark plies on the end do not look thicker.
Thus, the light plies on the side are not really thicker.
= 7 ply equal thickness.
So if it's a PF4 it would be an 08, as far as I know.

You can see the color changes in the third image at this link, then look again at my last zoom-in, above.
(In IE, at least, you can zoom in very far with ctrl+scroll wheel.)

Did anyone else see the photo above that proves it isn't an 032?

Wow what a great find! Zhiwen is my 1st favorite player~been watching clips of him all day. I'd love to have his style with an added RPB loop.

...and now to see that he plays with sponge. I was going to purchase 802 OX today...a rep from megaspin.net told me today that he plays OX. I have an old 032 110gm cpen I'm assembling.

You would definitely want at least a moderate amount of sponge for that style. Whoever you talked to on the phone is a moron.
