Hi @ Matt Pimple, I’ve just listed my blade for sale/for trade.

I hope it is OK I use your review to inform potential buyers of the characteristics of this blade.

Sorry for my late response, I saw your post just now. Yes of course it is okay to use my review. Good luck in your sale!

Thank you!

I think what is interesting is the wood edge protection, I don’t think there are many blades with this feature. Definitely had close to the table styles in mind.

The Hercules is classed as a combination blade. I thought a combination blade was one that had different speeds on backhand/forehand yet the reviews say the speeds are the same. Also, is the consensus that this is the blade to use with Grass dtechs and say tenergy

Though it might be classified as "combination blade" on the English version of Dr. Neubauer's website it doesn't have different speeds on forehand and backhand and is a totally symmetric blade. This actually stems more from the translation because in the original German version it is actually listed as a perfect blade for junk rubbers. I did use it with Tenergy 05 in the past and it did work very well but I can't comment on the Grass since I only played it was antis. I would actually like to test it again with Hurricane 3 but did trade my Hercules at some point in the past.

I used Hercules with Grass DTecS for a while but not with great success.
I found the blade rather slow for my liking.

Interesting, as I see a couple Def blades in your signature and the Hercules is ALL+. I thought it was plenty fast for anti and to me it was the benchmark with frictionless anti in terms of disruptive effect and reversal. At the end I just didn't find it that great for forehand with T05 but would actually like to reevaluate the Hercules at some point with Hurricane.

I need to change my signature. I am now using a Victas Matsushita Original blade with Grass DTecS in green and Evolution MXP max.

I started using it halfway through the season and love it.

Bulldog.
