What about compared vs Giant Dragon - Talon National Team OX?

In my view ,Giant Dragon - Talon National Team OX is one of the best current lps in ox for close to the table defence.I stopped using it because it is very expensive and besides, I want to keep testing the classical lps with the new ball.It seems the cheap classical lps still work ok with the new ball ( Bomb Talent, Globe, Scylla...) .

Currently , I will be testing Globe 979 with Sanwei M8,...then, Scylla and Palio CK 53 1 A.....

I also want to test Sanwei M8 and the Grubba all + with all these rubbers,..... it will take me some time ,especially now that the season is not over yet .....

I mentioned coming across the M8+ earlier in the thread. I've absolutely no idea what it's like. It's not even in the Sanwei catalog, nor is it available on AliExpress.

D.TecS is slow? I read here or other forum is faster than GD NT.

I'm also interested in your findings about Grubba all +

I did not mean that D.Techs was slow, I said : " slow ,slow " for TM,then I added Tm was not as dangerous as D.Techs.

If your style is blocking, GD NT is one of the best,if not the best rubber available. The ideal world would be a D.Techs or a GD NT with the speed of Tm .

DG is working well with Grubba all +,the only issue I see is that it has less braking effect than GD NT , hence blocks tend to go longer.

Well, sorry, this thread is on Sanwei M8, I should stop commenting more here

OK I misunderstood, thanks for clarification so more slow only TM but less dangerous.

I'm sorry guys for the OT.

Sanwei M8 quick review
Gave the Sanwei M8 with 61Second Lightning DS 1.8mm reverse (Red) + Dr N TM (Black – thanks CharDef) a quick test today.
The 61Second on FH pairs very well with the M8. It blocks well, hits well and even chops well offering oodles of control with good ball feeling on all strokes.
Dr N TM OX (with glue sheet) on BH – Offers very good short blocking. Returns are pretty toothless though. Disruption is minimal to non-existent. :(
Overall the M8 certainly complements both rubbers well.
May at some point try a sheet of black OX Bomb Talent to see how it performs on the M8.
Before use, the blade needed a bit of sanding to soften the edges of the neck; and personally for me, I did some sanding on the spine of the thumb-rest on the handle too (something I do to most blades) since it tends to hurt my palm especially if the spine is sharp, conspicuous and protruding. I have nothing negative to say about the M8. It certainly is great value for very little money!
I second Isk’s continuous recommendations on the M8 being a decent all-round blade offering marvellous control for consistent play. A sure all-out winner for the little it costs

I think it's "legit" in the sense that Sanwei made it, since I don't see any sense in counterfeiting a Sanwei blade in this price range. Whether it's still being made (or was made for any appreciable period of time) is anyone's guess.

The M8 does give the Stiga AR Classic a good run for its money. Don't know about the WRB Stiga AR Classic as I have never used it.
