Blade: dr neubauer firewall +
FH: DHS skyline 3 neo 2.15 mm
BH: Dr. Neubauer Agressor 1.5
Hi, I played for about 8 years as a Modern defender with a VKMO blade, a skyline 3 neo on the FH and different LP and MP on the BH. I was never been able to really been able to ajust to the kind of player I was playing. The offensive was missing when needed. As I'm not practicing a lot anymore, and now 55, my defense is a bit weak against strong player.

After seeing Nicolay Telnoy, modern defender with inverted rubber on both sides and a sword 309 blade, I switched to inverted defensive BH. Like Telnoy I'm playing with the spinlord marder 2 in 2,0 millimeter. It is changing my attack mode a lot and my chop has a lot of underspin right at the first chop. Now I saw that telnoy changed of BH rubber for a spinlord tiger 1,8 mm.( inverted rubber), My question are:

1-Can someone compare the sword 309 blade to the VKMO ?
2- Compare the blades when playing a chinese rubber ( skyline 3) for loop, loop kill on the FH.
2-Can someone compare the Marder 2 to the tiger ?
3- Also is 1,8 mm better for a more defensive for my BH. ( I'm getting better but the 2,0 mm is very springy and too often send the ball outside. )

Thank you.

BH: Yasaka Rising Dragon 2.0
309 is considerably slower.

I find the 309 to be about the same speed of the VKM. I've never played the VKMO but it's faster than the VKM for sure....more like the JSH blade but lighter.
