I analized a bit this movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkimdgYIDgE
and the frequency/speed is a not far away one to the other.

JSH - 1259Hz @ 24.2db
DiodeV - 1117Hz @ 22.1db

Those of you that have both, can confirm that?

On the other hand, I glued something "in the vein" of DiodeV, that I did not cut to shape yet.
Would anyone want to test it?

He has his finger on the blade, the frequency measurements may not be very useful.

Yes, but he keeps his finger on both blades, dampening beeing identical for both measurements.
So, even if the values would be a bit higher (without the finger) the proportion should be the same.

I'm far from convinced that these frequency measurements actually relate to something meaningful. I've seen to many measurements that don't make sense.

To me, from the picture here https://www.butterfly-global.com/en/products/item/36961_03.jpg it looks like:
- anegre (maybe 0.6mm)
- ayous (probably 0.9mm)
- ayous (2.5-3mm)
- ayous
- anegre

But the 2nd/5th layer can be also limba.
