Hi, as I venture onwards with my shameless EJing I ask you comrades for help. I am looking for something with following construction, 5wood + 2 carbon, Koto, followed by either spruce, birch, limba, followed by a carbon, preferably ALC, KLC with KIRI core. I've found several candidates including DHS301, Yinhe 970XX-A (can't confirm composition though). I would rather appreciate mentions of blade with those characteristics, then maybe I could track some of owners of those nearby to persuade them to me try them |

http://stervinou.net/ttbdb/compo.php Cheers. Although, I question your motive. What kind of feel are you going for? A hard surface + soft core inner composite type blade will feel like an amplified matchbox, or rather matchbox inside a matchbox, which is the worst kind of feeling (imo). Hard-soft-hard-soft might create a "disconnected" impact feel. |

I am looking for crispy but flexy. I hate limba top ply feel. I am constantly stealing my friends Xiom Omega Tour, but since the Corona Scare I couldn't do so. It feels great (Rosewood, yous, ebony, ayous, ebony, ayous, rosewood), so it's hardish, soft, hard, soft, hard, soft, hardish. I think loki k Arthur has similar construction. I really like it, but Omega Tour is out of production. The second reasoning is that I loved Hajtos Long V clone, but he sold it before I could buy it from him. I also prefer Kiri cores more than Ayous ones. So I thought for about a minute and I thought If I could find cheaper N301 but with Kiri core, that might be a nice blade. |

I maybe mistaken here, but wouldnt carbon makes the blade not flexy? imho if u want a flexy and crisp blade, ebenholz or maybe rosewood, by stiga would be it the 5 plies one. or even dhs hurricane ning |
