Exist stiff all-round blade? I love Stiga Classic All-Round so I'm looking for the same speed with a little less flex & more stiff.

Stiga NCT allround is that, perhaps a little faster.
Stiga Allround Evolution is also that but more speed, so maybe not what you want.

I think the Sanwei M8 will fit the bill. I have one ready for testing (inverted FH and OX long pips BH) when I get back to playing (soon hopefully ). It appears to be exactlly what you are after from a few bounce tests I carried out. Just a thought...

Stiffer than Stiga Allround Classic ?

It certainly feels harder with more bounce and I guess as a result it is faster too. Can't wait to test it.

I'm not looking for more harder, I'm looking less flex so more stiffer.

Any way to actually MEASURE this "flex"? (Otherwise it's all opinion...)

As we all know blade ratings (flex especially) are not gospel but just a matter of opinion. It appears that the Stiga ARC and Sanwei M8 are very similar as far as blade description goes. Sanwei is marginally stiffer in comparison and performance will be quite different too I am sure. For what you are seeking, the Sanwei may be worth considering; especially at it's cheap price! Hopefully there are other blades that better suit your preference. Good luck with your eventual choice.

The Galaxy (YinHe) Y-4 is a not-so-fast carbon blade which feels rather stiff (large sweet spot) but does not feel so hard (decent control on passive strokes). It does have a distinctive "pop" sound, which may be distracting. Hopefully one gets used to it, so it distracts the opponent more.

It is the slowest carbon blade I've used, I'd say in the ALL/ALL+ range.

I have two Y-4 blades, one penhold and one shakehand. Use them for demo/teaching purposes mostly.

Last evening, I was playing at another club, and noticed a player using a Donic Epoxy blade.. I'd never seen or played with this blade before, so borrowed it, and played a few counters & topspins with it, for 20-30 mins or so .. The rubbers glued-on were Xiom Vega Europe (XVE), on both sides.. I own and play with the XVE, and hence, I'm aware of the characteristics of this rubber..


First impressions (Of the entire setup) -

• The entire setup felt light'ish
• In terms of speed, it felt a shade or twot faster than my Defplay Senso V3 + XVE
• Nothing close to being as springy as my Defplay + XVE
• I had to adjust my topspin technique to the same as I do with my XVT Balsa Carbon or Black Knight. This makes me think that it's a rather stiff blade.
• I could block really well, even though, I don't consider the XVE the best rubber, where blocking is concerned..
• I could push quite well with this blade.

So, according to me, it's a bit faster than the Stiga Allround Classic, but also a lot stiff'er ...

I don't see this blade mentioned on the forums.. could not find any reviews either..

Nittaku Endless. Stiffer and than Allround Classic with a bigger head size. It is a medium-hard ''def'' blade and more or less as fast as Allround Classic with better ''control''.

Stiga Allround Evolution , little bit faster but match your search.

I prefer the Allround CR variant to the Evolution .. In terms of speed, it's pretty much the same as Evolution, but seems more stiff. Also, it's lighter than the Evolution, which is always a big plus for me.

Then, Tibhar Stratus Power Defence...stiffer than Allround Classic with a bigger head...
