For blades, I'm deciding between:

Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner
Butterfly Innerforce Layer ALC
DHS Hurricane 301

Also, I'll need to figure out which rubbers to get. Any advice appreciated!

Currently I play with the 5 ply OSP Virtuoso OFF-. Great feeling, but I'd like more speed.

If you taken into consideration Price:Performance, then I'd say, Hurricane 301, hands-down... Infact, even without factoring-in the price, I feel this blade out-performs, some of the other ALC blades that'd cost 2-3 times more..

My fellow club members have the Long 5 (With t05), and 301 (Rozena + Fastarc) , so I've tried both, and prefer the 301. I find it a lot easier to control, than the Long 5.. It also pairs well with most rubber types..

I certainly like the price of the Hurricane 301!!

My vote goes to DHS Hurricane 301 + coaching.

I'm now thinking Hurricane 301 with Fastarc G-1 FH and Rakza 7 Soft on BH

Sorry if I’ve offended you by generalizing... but it’s own description says that it is “ A power topsheet with a built-in tension power sponge...”

So, how would you classify it? It’s definitely not a “Chinese style” rubber, right?

Don't have catapult effect. Tensor technology is a pre-tensioned rubber topsheet nothing about sponge.....

It was my understanding that G1 is also produced by ESN in Germany.

This is all besides the point of this thread.

I’m with you in wanting something that isn’t too fast. G1 fits that bill in my opinion.

I've been using G-1 on my FH on an OSP Virtuoso Off-. love it.
