Any try this combi blade before?
Sword Subdue, another combi blade, claims a very minor 8.0/8.5 speed difference between the two sides. This has been confirmed by reviewers.
This blade boasts a whopping 6.5 vs 8.0 speed difference. Without a massive balsa core this would seem like a huge breakthrough in combi blades. Can't find anyone that has tried it though!

Rough review. Blade is nice, I have Skyline TG3 NEO boosted forehand. I can do powerful loops. Speed is not lacking at all. Dwell time is pretty high and throw angle for my TG3 is increased compared to when it was on YEO. Backhand (horizontal side) does not seem to have a frequency difference, but does seem to absorb energy somehow. I have long pips Palio CK531A on backhand side. I can do stronger strokes compared to Palio Chop No 1 and ball very noticeably does not go as far.
Craftsmanship is not great, but blade still looks beautiful. Logo is very very slightly crooked, horizontal back ply is not fully horizontal (it's at a 5 degree slant or something). Hinoki side looked and felt very smooth.
Both sides felt like they needed sealing (feel like "raw" wood, I don't know how to describe, but felt like it would splinter easily). I put on 5 very thin layers of minwax fast drying poly a few minutes apart.
I think it's worth it if you like loop, spin control and defensive game.
