Hello, I've been recently wanting to try 7-ply blades.

Besides a Stiga Clipper, what are 7-ply allwood blades with 6.6-6.8mm thickness?

My playstyle is attack. So at least All+ speed

thanks

I think Yinhe PD437 is about 6.6mm (maybe 6.5)…

Actually Samsonov Force Pro Black and Korbel SK7 are also probably around the 6.6-6.7mm mark.

Huaruite (HRT) Clipper Wood ... This would be around 6.5mm - 6.8mm thick.. It's marketed as a Stiga Clipper Clone

Orthodox Stiga Clipper is rather unique because of very soft top. Modern trend seems to favour hard top ply.

Not all 7-ply blades are equal. IMO only those who have 3 ply Ayous core of equal thickness and very thin couple of the top plies can be called clipperoids.

I see, I think I'll be getting a clipper classic then

But I seem to take interest (EJ) over the Yinhe 437, might take it as well

Andro CS7 Tour
Andro Timber OFF/S
Adidas Challenge Speed
Adidas Strike Wood 7
Butterfly SK7
Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro (Black)
Joola Viva
Xiom Extreme S
Yinhe PD437

All limba-ayous blades of similar thickness. Not all 7 plies are equal, but that is more-so because of weight and thickness differences than across brands. 6.6-6.8 is where most of these are, but there will be outliers, i.e my Clipper Wood is 6.5mm, Adidas Strike Wood is 6.7mm, Timber 7 is 7mm...

After weight and thickness, handle is the next most important. Adidas and Tibhar have fat handles, Andro/Butterfly/Yinhe medium-ish, while Xiom's are like toothpicks.

ALUMINUM BLADES STRONGLY UNWANTED.

Mr. Schilz, in his current report to ITTf AGM, put it all in most explicit words:
-- ITTF Governing Bodies does not welcome any structural materials other than natural wood for making racket blades. Again, the majority of TT manufactories feel strongly against the idea of the non-wood materials., -- plastic, aluminum. etc.
THEY now propounded an extra procedure to verify player's rackets for non-wood blades, upon the end of competitions.

Be happy.

Aluminum blades!

Super fast and somewhat flexy I'd guess. And a bit on the heavier side.

A lot of people here sell heavy 400-600g paddles for weight training here, a friend of mine attached an old rubber to it and it was insane fast, even harder than a OFF+++ Yinhe Blade
