I recently bought a clipper, and obviously sealed it with DHS protective coating (eh, pricey)

I want to play an LP OX FH, and I'm worried that the wood isn't capable of not splintering during the changing part.

Well, there's my question, do sealed blades have resistance to glue sheet splinters?

It's not guaranteed, but it does help some. The only blade I've seen that is super resilient to splintering is the dr neubauer matador on the backhand side, with its shiny, almost laminate covering.

I agree, it certainly helps, but it's not guarantee to stop splintering. Some glue sheets are also stronger than others.... not sure which are the weaker ones.
I know some people don't remove an old glue sheet, they just put another over the top of it.

Get the proper glue sheets. They don't come from China (or at least, they're sold under non-Chinese brands such as Andro or Xiom). They have a "strong side" and a "weak side" - properly applied, the strong side attaches to the rubber and doesn't come off, while the weak side attaches to the blade. You should be able to move the rubber sheet from blade to blade if you use this type of glue sheet.

Does Nittaku Nori Sheet + count as not coming from China?

I've seen it in my local TT shop, it doesn't to have any indication of weak, strong side besides than a cream side and paper side indication.

(sorry, I don't want to splinter a fairly expensive clipper)

You can always apply a thin layer of glue on the blade first, and that will act as a buffer for when you go to remove the rubber later.

Nittaku sheets are good. Butterfly is too.Tsp were super harsh on the blade...

Definitely not.If you dare to buy the Chinese ones from Aliexpress, chances are splintering will happen so easily .Yes , they are very cheap but they are not worth using.

Butterfly price and Nittaku price here is pretty much the same, I think I'll go with the Nittaku one

TEXTILE WILL BE A REAL HELP..
LP with a thin textile underlayer is the optimal solution. Giant Dragon has it on sale now. I got a piece of the textiled pips, it avoids lapses in glue works to my special satisfaction.
