Blade: Sword Razor
FH: Sword Ares BS Max 46deg
BH: Sword Dance SP 1.7-1.9
I am looking to get a CWX blade but I don't know what the structure is like. I know the materials of the different layers but how thick is each of them? I've heard that this makes a difference in chopping blades. Are the middle layers the same thickness as with the Chen Defender, or is the structure more like a conventional looping blade with one thick core and 2 thin outer veneers? Since the blade's edge is sealed by JOOLA I can't see the structure.

Trying to learn modern defence with short pimples on the backhand. I switched to SPs from LPs in December 2021 because I feel like it's hard to take advantage of opportunities on the backhand side with LPs. So I'm looking to integrate close-to-table aggressive techniques of SPs into my style. I'm right-handed and use a shake-hand ST grip. My blade is a soft oversized 7-ply made for chopping with SPs. My FH rubber is a tacky one and my SPs are actually medium pips or "raw pips" (生胶) as we call them in China.
