I'm sure there's an "O" missing from the printing on the surface of the first blade in the video!

I guess it wouldn't be "OOAK" if he made two of them..

Ah.. it turns out the patterns on the handle are laser engraved... I thought they were slices of veneer. Great idea - I have access to a laser engraver... maybe I'll modify some of my M8 handles...

Thank you so much for posting that     That video was both pleasing, confounding, gratifying and dumbfounding for me personally, all at the same time, and in ways and for reasons I am really not free to comment on.

I will say however that some of his processes were head-smackingly obvious in hindsight and I now need to re-tool my process a bit, while other steps were just plain odd to me (he laser etched the owner's name after he fitted the rubbers? Really?? Why risk damaging them through exposure to laser light and wood dust if you don't have to??)

On that subject, after seeing that video, I am seriously concerned now about that gentleman's health and longevity. His blade's were utterly beautiful... But his dust control systems were entirely non existent, and that surgical mask he was wearing isn't going to stop any sub-micron dust particles whatsoever.

An eye opening video for good reasons and for bad. My thanks again for sharing it.

From an OHS standpoint, I gotta say this guy's approach is probably far more my speed... (he doesn't have to breathe in a lungful of dust in the process) plus we get to see him manufacture his panels too, which is nice.

Note the use of urea formaldehyde resin & hardener, then note the frequency of the thing once he's done... That blade is gonna be an absolute rocket Actually surprised it flexed as much as it did!).

His sealant is awfully thick, and he seals the handle too which is questionable, plus I note he doesn't bother to weigh anything, ...but otherwise a pretty solid build. Nice job!

(PS: I'm also now hopelessly in love with this guy's veneering bandsaw... That thing is huge!!! Me want one!  )
